we went full analog, no plug ins, etc, etc and tracked and mixed at Henson studios (formerly) A&M studios. We finished up nikka costa's "pebble to a pearl" album back in april of last year. so if you haven't bought it already, then go out and pick it up after you finish reading this. In general, i always try and get a good balance between the close mics and the overheads/room mics.
